With these data protection provisions, WEFIT Group (hereinafter referred to as WEFIT) would like to inform you about how your personal data is processed. These data protection provisions supplement the “General Terms and Conditions” of WEFIT. By using our services, you agree to the following data protection conditions.

1. Basic principles regarding the processing of personal data

(1) WEFIT collects, processes and uses personal data in compliance with the data protection laws of the France and the data protection regulations of the European Union.

(2) WEFIT uses personal data exclusively to enable the use of WEFIT's internet services that require registration. In no case will WEFIT disclose personal data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes, or otherwise pass them on to third parties. However, anonymized user information can be used for statistical evaluations, quality assurance and market research purposes.

(3) With regard to the WEFIT Learning Management System, certain personal data entered by participants can be hidden from others (see No. 4).

2. Forwarding and necessary storage of personal data

(1) WEFIT is obliged to cooperate with authorities, in particular law enforcement authorities and courts, and in this context may also be compelled to forward personal data in order to answer inquiries from investigating authorities and / or courts.

(2) Inventory data collected within the framework of the contractual relationship are usually deleted or blocked if necessary when the contractual relationship is terminated, unless further storage is required by law. At the request of the participant, their profile can also be suspended for an indefinite period of time if the business relationship is to be continued at a later point in time.

(3) In the event of violations of the terms and conditions or the applicable statutory provisions as well as infringement of the rights of third parties, WEFIT reserves the right to retain the inventory data of the participants, even after the termination or blocking of the user profile, for a reasonable period of time to clarify the matter.

3. Security & Encryption

(1) The participant profile is password protected so that the personal information stored in it can only be edited by the participant. At the beginning of a training session, an individual user name and an initial password are assigned. When registering for the first time, the participant is asked to set a new, individual password for future use

(2) WEFIT recommends not to disclose personal passwords to any outside person and to protect them against unauthorized access by third parties. Participants should in particular leave all e-mails and other messages or popups that ask for a password unanswered. In order to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing the user profile, WEFIT also recommends that participants always log out after visiting the user profile and close the browser window.

(3) The participant profile can be viewed by the participant himself as well as by authorized WEFIT employees. Other participants have no access to the personal data of other users. If necessary, the following data can be hidden from the Training Manager. For the customer service of WEFIT Group, as well as the trainers of a participant, this data remains visible.

4. Log-Information

(1) WEFIT also automatically collects and stores information that the browser transmits to WEFIT. These are: browser type / version, information about the screen size, operating system used, referrer URL (the previously visited page), host name of the accessing computer (IP address), time of the server request. This data is anonymized and used for statistical evaluations.

(2) WEFIT reserves the right to use data from log files if, based on certain facts, there is a suspicion that users are using the WEFIT website and / or the WEFIT services in violation of the law or the contract. This serves both to protect WEFIT members, the security of member data, as well as the website and the WEFIT services

5. Use of cookies

WEFIT uses cookies to make the offer more user-friendly, more efficient and more secure. For example, the number of daily users, pages visited and the number of downloads are tracked. The IP address of the computer used is automatically saved by us. This information is treated confidentially and is not used to identify the visitor to the site.
